From Anthropology to Zoology – will you be part of our Living Library?

Would you like an opportunity to talk about your research and share conversations?  The library is looking for some researchers, at any stage of their research careers,  to be part of our Living Library event.

In our Living Library, researchers are both the readers and the books!

Just like a normal library, you can borrow a ‘book’ on a topic that interests you, only at our Living Library the book is in fact a researcher as well. In a living library books are people and reading consists of a conversation.

The idea is that ‘books’ share their research and/or experiences with others in the community- we know that the research here at Sussex encompasses a vast range of subjects and researchers have a vast range of expertise, which there is not always the opportunity to share.  So here is an opportunity to either become a book and share your research and experiences, or take some time out to talk with your peers and borrow a book!

The event will take place in the Library on  Friday 9th June, 10:00-12:00, as part of the SussexDocFest.

Interested?

If you would like the opportunity to be added to our Living Library as a book and share your research, contact the Library Research Support team by emailing library.researchsupport@sussex.ac.uk.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Interested in attending as a reader?  Put the date in your diary and look out for more details closer to the event.
