Podcasts – short audio or screen-cast recordings – can be a great way of explaining or promoting your research to a wider audience, and are a great tool for use within an educational context.
In this hands-on session participants will be introduced to the concepts of podcasts within a teaching & research context and learn how to plan, storyboard, record, edit and then share a podcast. This will encompass using Panopto as well as other tools.
About the facilitator: George Robinson is a Senior Learning Technologist within the Educational Enhacement Team, which provides guidance and support on the effective use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.
There is no pre-workshop preparation required for this workshop.
Audience: Doctoral researchers from all stages. Research Staff are also welcome to attend!
