WHAT DO WE MEAN BY ‘NEW NORMAL’? CHASE Encounters Conference 2022 (8 & 9 December)

A two-day online academic conference with free training and wellbeing classes for students, researchers and interested professionals

This two-day conference will host leading, interdisciplinary researchers from across the arts and social sciences, from Classics to contemporary ethnographic research.

Free for all to attend, this conference includes professional training from sought-after CHASE* providers, which covers:

  • Developing your research
  • Writing and project management skills
  • Scoping out your research area
  • Managing your workload
  • Journaling for research discoveries
  • Maximising your research impact.

With a focus on wellbeing, the conference will encourage you to take time away from your work through online yoga and mindfulness classes, art and meditation classes and even a workshop on growing houseplants. These wellbeing sessions are inclusive of all ages and you are very welcome to include your children and flatmates.

*The Consortium for the Humanities and the Arts South-east England (CHASE) brings together 9 leading institutions engaged in collaborative research activities including an AHRC doctoral training partnership.
