Rather than close the C-REC to applications for ethics review for a period to cover summer leave, we will be keeping the Committee open through July to August, but with the caveat that turnaround times may be slower than usual due to the reduced availability of reviewers.
It will not be possible to process requests for expedited review during this period. We advise that you allow 28 days for a decision on your application and that you factor in sufficient time for the pre-review screening, the C-REC review and any revisions to the application that may be required.
